St. George - NATURAL, Ethiopia
In the village of Hirut Birhanu is a church called St. George that has small lot of heirloom coffee trees on it. The parishioners of the church take such great care of these trees as the coffee helps sustain the church and its community. The coffee was meticulously harvested and brought to the Dumerso Sisters station in the town to be processed by them. Maybe it's the extra care given to the trees, or maybe this coffee is blessed?? But either way, this is an exciting natural coffee bursting with that sweet fruity flavour we all love.
We're really proud to be working with these groups. The Dumerso Sisters are investing in the village, helping to bring healthcare, more electricity, and security. We purchased this coffee through our friend at Sucafina that focus on sustainability for the producers. Tasting Notes: Floral, Honey, Black Tea, Peach
